What do I do when plug-ins do not fit tightly into electric wall sockets?

I bought some airwick plug-ins, however they do not fit tightly into the wall sockets, can someone tell me how to solve this problem? I just moved back into my home and have alot of repairs, starting with the least costly task. I also need to put light fixture back up with no experince is this job to dangerous for a beginner?
